Her major research interest is in the area of Literature & Science Studies, including Animal Studies and Critical Posthumanism. She acts as Executive Director of the European Society for Science, Literature, and the Arts (SLSA-EU) and co-edits the Rodopi book series, Experimental Practices: Technoscience, Art, Literature, Philosophy (EP).
